Join forces with ILA and its dedicated volunteers to schedule virtual meetings with your state representative and state senator. This is your chance to share your story and advocate for stronger resources to combat the alarming rise of ticks and tick-borne diseases across Illinois. ILA will host a training session prior to the event week and go through tips to speak to your legislator. ILA will also provide any content materials for the event. We’re also organizing an IN-PERSON Awareness Day in Springfield on March 19, 2025, for those who want to join us in distributing flyers to legislators, raising awareness about the growing impact of tick-borne diseases in Illinois. This event involves significant walking, so be sure to wear comfortable, supportive shoes. We hope to see you there!
