THIS EVENT IS FULL!
Come join us for a fun night out for Paint & Sip in Peoria Heights, IL. We’ll sip on delicious wine while channeling our inner artist onto a canvas.
Don’t have painting experience? No Problem! Led by local Peoria artist Megan Couri, our party will feature a paint-by-number piece for the painter of any skill level.
Proceeds for the evening will help Illinois Lyme Association offset the cost of travel expenses for the guest speakers of the 2024 Illinois Tickborne Disease Conference, a medical conference that has come together in just a few short month through a unique partnership with the Illinois Department of Public Health.
Please join us for a great night and help support a very worthy endeavor. Our goal is to raise $25,000! If you would like to help sponsor this event or have any questions regarding the event, please contact Jen Russell at jen@illymeassociation.org or Kathy Dolan at: kdolan7911@gmail.com
Doors open at 6:30 PM. Painting starts at 7 PM. We will be on the 3rd floor of The Twelve Bar.

LET’S DESIGN A COOKBOOK
ATTN: Let's do something FUN!! Good morning everyone!!! Wanted to invite you all to do something FUN which will also be a little fundraiser for IL Lyme Association to sell on our brand new website about to launch.
An idea was brought to me to put together a Lyme Cookbook with Lyme friendly recipes!!!!
I think this would be a great lead in to May, Lyme Awareness month!! I think we would have enough time to get it printed and out if we get enough recipe submissions. So I need your help!!
I know it was difficult for me when trying to figure everything else out when my daughter was diagnosed.. now I had to change how I cooked! It was overwhelming.
So, we need ALOT of recipes!! You can send those to info@illymeassociation.org. We will include your name with the recipe unless you indicate specifically you don't want your name published.
If you want to add a little quote or sentence with the recipe to publish, please do! It just gives the cookbook a more personalized feel.
Let's take the month of FEBRUARY to submit recipes and that should give us enough time to get them published.
I would also like to invite our artists to submit a painting/drawing/picture for the cover!! Our Board of Directors will choose the winner for the cover.
Lyme friendly means contains no gluten, sugar, dairy. Those inflammatory add-ins.
So get those recipes in!! Asap. You can submit as many as you want. We will need ALOT. If your recipe isn't Lyme friendly specifically, just note that it isn't "Lyme friendly but may be adapted".
Thank you for helping make this great!!
