ILLINOIS — The State of Illinois is quickly rising as the Midwest leader in tick research and the Illinois Lyme Association (ILA) has been a large part of that success. ILA is working extremely hard to bring light to this hidden epidemic of Vector-Borne diseases through building partnerships and collaborative efforts.
The ILA Board of Directors is seeking your help to recruit and create a panel of providers and medical experts to provide direction and input for educational material development for the medical community and the public on vector-borne diseases in the State of Illinois.
Panel members may be asked periodically to participate in speaking engagements hosted by the Illinois Lyme Association at web based events, symposiums, public events or write articles for the ILA Quarterly E-News report. Panel members will be acknowledged in published materials and events.
If you know a provider that you feel is knowledgeable and would be a great fit for the panel, please encourage them to send their resumes to the address below. Their goal is a panel of at least 12 medical providers. Providers licensed to practice in the State of Illinois will make up the majority of the panel.
Resumes will be accepted until Aug. 3. A short questionnaire will be sent to the provider upon receipt of resume. If interested, please send your resumes via email or mail.
Please address emails to Jennifer Russell, Illinois Lyme Association CEO and Executive Director, at: jen@illymeassociation.org or by phone, 309-582-6735.
