Illinois Lyme Association Partners with IDPH to Host 2024 Illinois Tickborne Disease Conference

We’re excited to announce that we’ve parterned with the Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) for a groundbreaking 2024 Illinois Tickborne Disease Conference. This first-time medical conference will take place on October 22 in Champaign, IL and is an opportunity to bring together healthcare professionals, researchers, local health departments, and other leaders in the field of Lyme and tickborne diseases.

We’re thrilled to have an exciting lineup of speakers, including Dr. Susanna Visser from the CDC, Dr. Brian Fallon from the Lyme and Tick-Borne Diseases Research Center at Columbia, Dr. Scott Commins from UNC Allergy & Immunology Clinic, and more.

Last year, we reached for the stars when we set our sights on creating a tickborne disease medical conference in Illinois. To see it blossom through innovative partnerships is a dream come true for a small but mighty organization that began with a mom on a mission to help her young daughter regain her health and raise awareness.

The conference is free and multiple continuing education credit (CEC) types are being offered to healthcare professionals for this event.
